Commemorative photograph in Prince Amro Ibrahim's mansion, January 29, 1930, during the first celebration party held by the first Egyptian Aviation Club for the aviator Mohamed Sedki who was the first Egyptian to cross the Mediterranean in an aircraft, flying alone from Berlin to Cairo on January 25, 1930, arriving one day later on January 26. Egyptian actor Yusuf Wahbi Bey, circa 1923. He held the "Bey" title at the time. Wahbi is the owner of Ramses Theatre that opened its doors in 1923.

الممثل المصري يوسف وهبي بك، حوالي عام ١٩٢٣. في ذلك الوقت كان يحمل لقب "بك". يوسف بك هو صاحب مسرح رمسيس الذي تم افتتاحه عام ١٩٢٣.

Egyptian actor Naguib al-Rihani, c. 1910s-1920s. He is the creator of 'Kishkish Bey' character in circa 1916. Kishkish Bey is the 'Umda (Mayor) of Kafr al-Ballas, a rural village in Egypt at the turn of the 20th century. He is an older man, provincial and dressed like it, whose trips to Cairo and other urban areas lead to wacky shenanigans. Kishkish is naive in the ways of the big city and is often fleeced by jaded and low city women and men. But Kishkish has a certain amount of cunning and sometimes turns the tables on those who would swindle him. Occasionally he meets Osman, a character created by Ali al-Kassar also about 1916.

الممثل المصري نجيب الريحاني، حوالي العقد الأول من القرن العشرين إلى فترة العشرينيات. الريحاني هو صانع شخصية "كشكش بك" في حوالي عام ١٩١٦. كشكش بك هو عمدة قرية كفر البلاص في مطلع القرن العشرين، وهو رجل كبير السن، إقليمي كما توحي ملابسه، والذي تنتهي رحلاته إلى القاهرة والمناطق الحضرية الأخرى إلى عمليات احتيال غريبة مضحكة. كشكش شخصية ساذجة في أساليب التعامل مع المدينة الكبيرة وأحيانا يتم خداعه من قبل نساء لعوب ورجال رديئة السمعة ووضعاء، لكن كشكش لديه قدر معين من المكر، وفي بعض الأحيان يقلب الطاولة على أولئك الذين يريدون خداعه. كذلك فإنه من حين لآخر يلتقي بعثمان، الشخصية التي ابتكرها علي الكسار أيضا حوالي عام ١٩١٦.
